2019 Mekong - U.S. Partnership Young Scientist Program

2019 Program Participants

The 2019 cohort consisted of 33 young scientists from the five Lower Mekong countries, who are enrolled or have recently completed a graduate program in the fields of Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, Information Technologies, among others. The participants developed capacity for collaborative research through a four-week thematic placement program in Vientiane, Lao PDR; a two-day scientific symposium in Yangon, Myanmar; and a competition for seed funding.
