U.S.-ASEAN Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation (STIC) Program

Overview

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs Office of Multilateral Affairs (EAP/MLA) and implemented by Arizona State University (ASU), the U.S.-ASEAN Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation (STIC) Program aims to strengthen science, technology, and innovation cooperation between the U.S. and the ASEAN member states.

This 4-year program focuses on three major activities:

  • An U.S.-based science, technology, and innovation policy study tour in Washington D.C.
  • An online portfolio of upskilling content through the ASEAN Online
  • Education Platform for Industry 4.0.
  • An annual regional conference Symposium on Accelerating Science, Technology, and Circular Innovation in Southeast Asia with technical and innovation tracks and grant competitions for research, publishing, and venture creation.
