The Science and Technology (S&T) Track offers you the flexibility to choose courses for skills that best meet your needs. We have partnered with Coursera to curate nine technical academies offered by top universities in the United States that specifically align with the priority areas identified by APASTI 2016-2025.

Each academy is designed to provide you with technical skills, cross-cutting themes, and guided projects to offer you a comprehensive and tailored learning experience.

Technical Academies

To receive a program-level certificate of completion issued by STIC, participants are required to complete at least one course from the Guided Projects section, one course from the Cross-Cutting Themes section, and all courses in the Mandatory Courses section. Additionally, participants will receive a course-level certificate upon completing individual courses.

Upon completion of the Technical Academy, participants will be awarded a program-level certificate of completion. This certificate makes them eligible to apply for the STIC Research and Publishing Grants Program. The program offers travel grants to the top 35 applicants every year to present their proposals at the STIC Annual Conference. At the conference, four projects will be selected to receive research and publishing grants of $12,500 USD each. The recipients will be required to submit a final progress report within 12 months.
