Before applying for your license, please familiarize yourself with the structure of the STIC Talent Mobility Portal.

During the application process, you will have to select your Program Track (Science and Technology (S&T), Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I), or Industry Professional Credentials). If you choose the Science and Technology track, you will also be asked to select one of the nine Technical Academies.

If you are selected to receive a license for the S&T or E&I Tracks, you will get an invitation email from Coursera to start learning and you will have 2 months to complete your S&T and E&I Track.

To receive a program-level certificate of completion issued by STIC, participants are required to complete at least one course from the Guided Projects section, at least one course from the Cross-Cutting Themes section, and all courses in the Mandatory Courses section. Additionally, participants will receive a course-level certificate upon completing individual courses.

Upon completion of the S&T and E&I Tracks, participants will be awarded a program-level certificate of completion. This certificate makes them eligible to apply for the STIC Grants Program. The program offers travel grants to the top 35 applicants every year to present their proposals at the STIC Annual Conference. At the conference, four S&T and four E&I projects will be selected to receive research and publishing grants of $12,500 USD each. The recipients will be required to submit a final progress report within 12 months.

If you are selected to receive a license for the Industry Professional Credentials Tracks, you will get an invitation email from Coursera and you will have up to 6 months to complete your Industry Professional Credentials Track.
